Pool heaters use natural gas to heat pool water. They operate very similarly to larger boilers, in that they use a heat exchanger apparatus to heat the water, although pool heaters are generally designed to be installed outdoors and heat the somewhat more corrosive pool water.
Pool heaters can be used in most residential and commercial pools and generally have faster heat up times than alternative pool heating methods.
III Equipment Options
Natural gas pool heaters are available in standing pilot and electronic ignition models. A variety of heating capacities are available. Some models are designed to look like part of the pool's pumping and filtering systems.
